Xiaoqimama Children Art Studio seeks to develop and strengthen creative skills? build self-esteem? develop a sense of self-importance and individuality? encourage self-expression and stimulate imagination in children through the arts.?

The art programs are designed to give students the opportunity to explore in depth the rich experience of painting? drawing and mixed media. Continuous classes are weekly and students may enroll at any time.

Our art classes for children (3~12) are designed to offer a safe? fun and encouraging environment for children to discover their own creative vision and explore self-expression and communication through the visual arts. Students will use traditional Chinese ink ?Chinese rice paper and non-traditional techniques and materials to learn the language of art.

Along with painting? they will use drawing and mixed media techniques to explore line? shape? color and texture to examine familiar objects and places in the world (still life? animals? people? the environment? etc...)?as well as more abstract concepts of mood and emotion.
